Inventing Tomorrow: Screening and Discussion!

Join the Bay County Public Library for a free public screening of Inventing Tomorrow followed by discussion! Part of the library's Beyond the Lens Book and Film Series. This event will draw connections between the film Inventing Tomorrow and the book The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope by William Kamkwamba. Guest Panelists will lead post-film discussion. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Bay County Public Libraries for all Beyond the Lens programs.

Passionate teenage innovators from around the globe create cutting-edge solutions to confront the world’s environmental threats—found right in their own backyards—while navigating the doubts and insecurities that mark adolescence. These inspiring teens prepare their projects for the largest convening of high school scientists in the world: the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
