Black Star Film Festival

August 6 - 9 | Philadelphia, PA

Erika Dilday and Robert Y. Chang return to BlackStar Film Festival in Philadelphia for their anniversary edition–‘Celebrating 15 Years of Cinema for Liberation’. The annual festival centers stories of Black, Brown and Indigenous filmmakers from around the world. Known for their adventurous and visionary programs that include narrative features, shortform works, documentary and experimental takes along with special events, industry gatherings and activities. Each year builds upon the previous festival, which has become a must-go destination for cinema lovers, film programmers, distributors and those working in and around nonfiction filmmaking and public media.
