17th CNEX Chinese Doc Forum

September 16 - 20 | Taipei, Taiwan, NY

Robert Y. Chang will attend the 17th CNEX Chinese Doc Forum in Taipei, Taiwan. CNEX, a short form of “Chinese Next” and “See Next”, is a non-profit foundation devoted to the production and promotion of documentaries of the Chinese people and facilitates cultural exchange between Chinese and the rest of the world through supporting documentaries depicting contemporary Chinese – people of Chinese ethnicity, their living and their society. Robert will participate in a pitch panel for filmmakers along with other industry professionals on projects related to the Chinese community, learn about contemporary Chinese documentary filmmaking while sharing feedback and insight about public media.

Camden Film Festival

September 17 - 20 | Camden, ME

Erika Dilday returns to Camden Film Festival in Maine for their 22nd annual festival taking place throughout Camden and Rockland. CIFF hosts filmmakers from across the globe and features a slate of boundary-pushing documentary films, an array of short film programs, special events, world premieres, awards presentations and industry gatherings for documentary film professionals. CIFF’s dynamic programming happens at a variety of art house theaters and unique locations known for their architectural charm.  

On Friday, September 18, from 1:45pm - 3pm (French Room, Camden Opera House) Erika will participate in a conversation with public media industry peers including Raney Aronson-Rath of FRONTLINE, Chris Hastings of WXXI and Razi Jafri of NPR Studios to share how their organizations are evolving with changing times by experimenting in distribution and expanding into the digital spaces.

The 2026 Gotham Week

September 27 - October 3 | New York, NY

Cayla Clements will attend Gotham Week in NYC. This weeklong event is a centerpiece of the annual film and media calendar. Cayla will represent AmDoc at the Project Market, the nation’s oldest and largest curated marketplace for film and TV creators, a dynamic forum connecting new fiction and documentary projects in development with industry executives. This year’s Project Market will host 80 documentary and narrative projects.
