Objectives
In this lesson, students will:
- Acquire knowledge of new vocabulary before and after viewing the documentary, “Mayor”.
- Examine and identify the religious and ethnic/racial makeup of Palestinians.
- Examine and discuss methods of resistance in BLM protests and protests in Palestine.
- Assess and evaluate the events that lead to Palestinians protesting and defending their city from Israeli soldiers.
- Respond to higher order thinking questions.
- Exhibit and hone active listening skills.
- Exhibit and hone debate/public speaking skills.
